British comedian David Walliams' model wife Lara Stone has won "significant" damages from Playboy magazine editors in France after they published photographs of her without authorization.

The Dutch beauty took legal action after shots taken by photographer Greg Lotus were featured in the June edition of the men's publication without her consent. The magazine bosses were ordered by a Paris court to pay her an unspecified fee and admit in an upcoming issue that they infringed her rights.

Stone wed "Little Britain" funnyman Walliams in May.

In a statement released by her law firm Schillings, the fashion model said, "No woman wants photos of them to be published in Playboy without permission. I'm very pleased to have won the case, although of course I would rather not have had to take legal action at all."

Stone will donate the money to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
