LeAnn Rimes Responds to Shape Magazine

Learning that her October cover in Shape Magazine was called "terrible mistake" and editor-in-chief of the fitness magazine itself, Valerie Latona, has released their apology for putting her on the cover, LeAnn Rimes has launched her response. The "I Need You" singer took it to her Twitter page on Friday, October 29 to voice her disappointment.

"Just so all my fans know, I'm getting to the bottom of this. It's the first I've heard of this," LeAnn wrote. "Shape is throwing me a party next week as a thank you and a congrats for being on their cover for the 3rd time. I find this very contradictory," she went on, before adding "I love you all!!"

Shape released their apology to readers after receiving complaints from them for putting LeAnn, whom they called home-wrecker, on the issue. Editor Valerie wrote an email sent to some readers and obtained by TooFab, which read, "Please know that our putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal."

"But to show (through her story) how we all are human. And this woman in particular found strength in exercise in what she said was her most difficult personal moment," the editor continued. "It did not come across that way... and for that I'm terribly sorry. I hope that we can do better the next time for those of you that will give us another chance."

"The fact is a mere 40 readers out of almost 6 million readers wrote in to complain calling LeAnn a 'husband stealer' and a 'terrible mistake for Shape.' I wrote to those women apologizing that our cover choice did not make them happy - as I have done for other cover stars in the past," the email further read.

LeAnn Rimes has been attached to the title following her affair with "Northern Lights" co-star Eddie Cibrian who was at that time a married man. The singer herself was at that time married to Dean Sheremet. Both LeAnn and Eddie have now finalized their divorce from their respective spouses and no longer play coy about their romance.

The man who is suing Eva Longoria Parker over a car crash has offered to drop the lawsuit - if the actress takes the blame for the accident and apologizes. Roman Gasparyan filed a negligence suit against the Desperate Housewives star on Tuesday, October 26, accusing her of causing him injury by swerving her car into his on Los Angeles' famous Hollywood Boulevard last week.

Gasparyan has now announced he is willing to drop the matter, but only if she accepts responsibility for the collision. Speaking to TMZ.com on Wednesday, his attorney says, "Mr. Gasparyan is not here for the money. He's here for justice and Mr. Gasparyan puts this proposal to Ms. Longoria that if she admits to this accident, that she's at fault, and that she apologizes publicly to Mr. Gasparyan for causing him an injury and damages, we will dismiss this lawsuit."

"We want everyone to know that Mr. Gasparyan wants justice and the truth to come out of this matter. We will give Ms. Longoria until tomorrow to respond to our offer." A spokesperson for Longoria Parker has previously denied Gasparyan's allegations that the actress is to blame for the crash.

"I did help him at the hospital," Denise, who reportedly stayed in a separate room in the same hotel with Charlie, said. The "Blonde and Blonder" actress, however, refused to give further detail about the matter. Instead, she revealed that she is a lot more concerned about her two daughters with Charlie.

"My daughters are five and six years old," Denise said. "And they're at an age when they can start to understand, they have no idea what went on and a lot of... our stuff happened when they were much younger, which I'm so grateful for."

Meanwhile, Charlie's rep told People that the "Two and a Half Men" star has been released from the medical center. "Charlie Sheen has been discharged from a hospital in N.Y. and is returning to L.A. today. Everything else is speculation."

Charlie was found half-naked and passed out on the hotel room bed with a naked woman who was identified as an escort at 2 A.M. on Tuesday, Life & Style Magazine reported. "She was fearing for her life and was naked," said a source. "Charlie was incoherent but started screaming slurs at the cops. They recognized him immediately and gave him two options: they could take him to the hospital or take him down to the station. Charlie chose the hospital."

The source went on saying that Denise and her daughters were staying in a separate room for a family vacation. The source recalled, "His two daughters were sleeping in the next room. Denise had to go with the cops and leave the girls with a nanny. She looked distraught."

Charlie, who was only a week away from completing his probation, exited the hotel at around 2:30 A.M. "The paramedics were heard calling it an overdose," another eyewitness told the site. "But he was definitely awake before leaving the hotel as he made the choice to go there and not the jail."

People further reported that Charlie was removed from the scene "for alcohol abuse and psychological evaluation" and considered an "aided case," meaning no arrest was made. Sources said as quoted by New York Post that Charlie told cops he was drinking and had snorted cocaine before flipping out.

However, the actor's rep insisted that Charlie was taken to hospital for allergic reaction to medication. "What we are able to determine is that Charlie had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital, where is expected to be released tomorrow," the rep explained earlier.

Troubled rapper T.I. has been ordered to report to a federal prison to begin serving an 11-month jail sentence. Although the twins were born healthy, they still have to spend the next few days in incubator because they were born premature. As for the babies' names, the rep revealed that Celine and Rene will settle it later. "Celine is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up," the rep explained. "Rene Charles has been to the hospital to visit his brothers and is just so excited they are here."

Beside Celine's rep, the "Power of Love" hitmaker's doctor, Ronald Ackerman, also shared the happy news through a press conference outside the hospital. The doctor revealed that the delivery, which was done via C-section, went as expected and the twin boys were both born with a good amount of hair.

Celine had been trying hard to conceive for the second time after giving birth to Rene Charles in January 2001. In early May this year, Celine finally confirmed that she was expecting the babies after having her sixth in vitro fertilization treatment as well as acupuncture.
