Having done with Richie Sambora few years ago, Denise Richards has reportedly landed her heart on another rocker. The ex-wife of actor Charlie Sheen is said to have been quietly dating Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, who apparently lives not far from her.
A source close to the 39-year-old actress and the 52-year-old musician says they "have been neighbors for years. They have a lot in common and are taking things slowly." Additionally, a witness tells Us Weekly that the twosome had breakfast at Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas, California on Sunday, December 12. "Nikki was telling stories, and Denise was laughing," the witness gushes about the alleged date.
However, a contradictory claim is obtained by E! Online from another source who insists that "he [Nikki] is not her [Denise's] boyfriend."
Denise Richards has two daughters from her four-year marriage with Charlie Sheen. Soon after filing her divorce from Charlie in 2006, she dated Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora until 2007.
Nikki Sixx, meanwhile, has four kids with ex-wives "Baywatch" star Donna D'Errico and Playboy Playmate Brandi Brandt.
