Paris Hilton has won the first round in her legal tussle with a hair extensions company - a judge has forced the firm to drop a number of claims against the socialite. Executives at Hairtech International Inc. filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the hotel heiress back in August alleging she failed to properly endorse their products after she was signed up as the face of their Dream Catchers range in 2007.

Company bosses accused Hilton of breaking the terms of her deal by wearing extensions made by another company and failing to attend a launch party in 2007 after she was jailed for driving on a suspended licence while on probation for drink-driving.

The case went to court in Los Angeles last Friday , December 17 and Superior Court Judge Gregory Alarcon ruled Hairtech's lawsuit did not properly substantiate a number of allegations against the star, and ordered the claims to be removed from the legal filing.

The judge wiped an allegation of fraud and ordered the firm's lawyers to remove all references to Hilton's wearing of competitors' products. The ruling also demands Hilton's father Rick be removed as a co-defendant in the case.

Hairtech bosses can still proceed with their claim that Hilton breached her contract with her jail stint. Hilton has filed a counter-suit against the company, alleging the firm failed to honor more than $1.7 million in guaranteed payments. A trial is scheduled to begin next November 2011.

Herrero, who was 20-year-old when she babysat for Ommanney, said she knew because her employer had told her personally. "Although she was my boss, when she was really happy she would share things with me, like what happened with Prince Harry," Herrero was quoted as saying. "She would show me messages that he sent her, and she said that he wanted to take her hand and travel around the world."

Revealing what she knew further, Herrero said, "Catherine told me that one time that she kissed Prince Harry in a bathroom. She told me she met him because she doing interior design for him, even though I never saw her doing any work."

Ommanney once admitted that she was in a relationship with the third in line to the throne, saying "He was holding me off the floor, kissing me. I was absolutely speechless. I was against the wall, and he literally lifted me off the floor and gave me a lovely kiss which I was stunned by. It was a lovely kiss... Afterwards I didn't say anything. I was genuinely, completely blown away."

The couple released an official statement through their rep just a day after Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter announced theirs.

"After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage," they said Tuesday, December 14 through their publicist, Meredith O'Sullivan. "We entered our relationship with love, and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

The couple, which is notorious for being very private about their relationship, was engaged in May 2008 and got married four months later. Master P to Fight Woman for Fake Charity by Using His Name

Rap mogul Master P has threatened to take legal action against a woman in Tennessee who is under federal investigation for using his name to promote a fake charitable organization. Alisa R. Harris is accused of running the Corey Miller Food Foundation and linking various websites for the bogus cause to Master P and his incarcerated brother, Corey 'C-Murder' Miller, without their authorization.

Harris allegedly uses the websites to hire ex-convicts and people on welfare to appeal for cash donations over the phone for the charity, but the scandal was exposed after an investigation by Memphis' Action News 5 network.

Master P has been left fuming by the scam and is seeking to sue over the use of his and his brother's name, insisting he has never heard of Harris. He says, "I have never met her. Don't know who she is� Just to have somebody use your name and don't even know you, it's not even fair... This is crazy. She needs to be stopped."

Corey Miller is currently serving time behind bars at Angola State Prison in Louisiana as he appeals a life sentence for the 2002 murder of a 16 year old boy at a local nightclub.

Elton John's Husband Was 'Disgusted And Deeply Saddened'

Sir Elton John's husband David Furnish was "disgusted and deeply saddened" after learning homosexuals in his native Canada have been targeted by religious extremist groups. The "Rocket Man" served as guest editor of Wednesday, December 10's edition of Britain's The Independent newspaper to mark World AIDS Day, while his partner has written an article about the stigma associated with the disease.

In the piece, Furnish also claims several right-wing religious groups around the world have been brutally targeting homosexuals, with a few extremists allegedly exposing their identities in smear campaigns. And the filmmaker was shocked to discover some of the organizations are based in his native Canada.

In the article, he writes, "Such attitudes are encouraged by conservative religious leaders (backed by funding from right-wing evangelical organizations in the United States and Canada) waging a righteous 'Christian war' against homosexuality to preserve what they see as traditional values and morality."

"I am proud to be a Canadian, but was disgusted and deeply saddened to discover that Canadian right-wing extremist religious groups would stoop to such sickening levels. According to (human rights advocate Dr. Robert Carr), these people feel the Western world has fallen prey to these satanic influences (gay marriage is rightfully legal in Canada) and that they must turn their energies and their pocketbooks towards preserving the sanctity of the developing world. They are solely taking advantage of a part of our world where people are less educated to promote their own evil agenda."

"How this barbarism can exist is beyond my comprehension, but when it is encouraged in the name of Christianity it is truly repulsive. It directly flies in the face of the Christian values of love and forgiveness on which I was raised."

In the meantime, his spouse Elton John feels inspired by so many people seeking treatment for AIDS - because it proves his charity's ongoing awareness drive is working. He established the Elton John AIDS Foundation in the early 1990s to offer support to sufferers of the disease and help promote prevention of the health issue.

Recent figures show a 25 per cent drop in new infections being reported around the world, and Sir Elton is overjoyed with the compelling statistic. As guest editor of The Independent newspaper to mark World AIDS Day, he writes, "In fact, I am compelled not by despair but by hope. I'm heartened by the recent statistics from UNAIDS that tell a promising story - five million people on treatment and a 25 per cent drop in new infections across the worst-affected countries since 2001.

"I'm motivated by the progress that AIDS has quite unintentionally moved forward, rather than the destruction it has left in its wake... despite the chaos AIDS has wrought, it has also resulted in remarkable human compassion and ingenuity.

I am proud that the Elton John AIDS Foundation has contributed to this progress for nearly 20 years. Through the Foundation I have witnessed the ingenuity, the compassion, and the human love that has made a difference, not just in the fight against AIDS, but in all aspects of the complex, globalixed world in which we live."

All revenue from the newspaper's sales will go towards the singer's charity.

New York celebrated one of its cherished holiday rituals on November 30 when a 12-ton, 74-foot Norway Spruce is illuminated by 30,000 environmentally-friendly LED lights. In its 78th year, Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting saw around 50,000 people coming to the city's heart to witness the event including a number of celebrities.

Kylie Minogue and Jessica Simpson, who took part in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, took the center stage to perform Holiday tunes. Other stars who came to share the joy were Charice, Susan Boyle, Josh Groban, Sheryl Crow, Boyz II Men, Katherine Jenkins, Annie Lennox and many more. NY mayor Michael Bloomberg also attended the event.

This year's tree came from Peter Acton's backyard. Acton is a New York City firefighter and September 11th first responder who lives in Mahopac, New York. "Over the years, people would say to us that the tree belonged at Rockefeller Center, but we never really paid much attention. Even now, my wife is disbelieving that our tree is really going to be this year's Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree," he said.

The tree will be lit from 5.30 A.M. to 11.30 P.M. everyday until January 7, 2011. But it would stay lit for 24 hours on Christmas Day.

Michael Buble is set to take his relationship with Luisana Lopilato to the next level. After engaged to the model for a year, the Canadian singer plans to marry his fiancee on April 6, 2011, he announced during his appearance on "Today" show as reported by People.

The 35-year-old star, who previously was engaged to Emily Blunt, jokingly said they avoid to wed on April 29, 2011, which is the wedding date set by Prince William and Kate Middleton. "I was going to do it on [April] 29th, but figured I wouldn't get any press," he told the show.

Buble had previously revealed that he and Lopilato would have two ceremonies. The first will be in Lopilato's native Argentina and the second in Vancouver. For their honeymoon, the couple plans a huge African adventure and wants to fit in some charity work for children's causes while they're there.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, Lopilato talked about plans to have children, saying "I want to have four or five." Buble, not opposing the idea, jokingly said, "I would like to start off with sea monkeys first and see if I can keep those alive."

Michael Buble started dating Luisana Lopilato after breaking up with Emily Blunt in July 2008. He became engaged to the Argentine actress, who appeared in his music video for "Haven't Met You Yet", in November 2009.
